Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Day 5: Slight Drop on Monday, Still Dominates Globally
Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its strong run at the box office, though it witnessed a noticeable slowdown on its first Monday.
The action drama, directed by Aditya Dhar, collected around ₹65 crore net on Day 5 (March 23). With this, the film’s total domestic collection has reached approximately ₹519 crore, marking its lowest single-day earning since its grand release on March 19.
Day 5 Performance Details
The film saw a drop of over 40% compared to Sunday’s ₹114+ crore, which is expected after a strong opening weekend. Despite the dip, the numbers remain impressive for a weekday.
Across more than 20,000 shows, the film maintained an overall occupancy of around 48%. Morning shows started slow with under 30% occupancy, but the numbers improved steadily through the day—crossing 60% during night screenings.
Worldwide Collection Update
Even with the weekday slowdown, Dhurandhar 2 continues to perform exceptionally well worldwide. The film has already grossed around ₹830 crore globally within six days, including preview shows, and is steadily moving toward the ₹1000 crore milestone.
Superstar Praise Adds Momentum
The film recently received huge appreciation from Rajinikanth, who praised it publicly on social media. Calling it a “must-watch,” he congratulated the entire team and especially appreciated the director’s work, adding to the film’s growing buzz.
Star Cast
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features a strong supporting cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor.
Final Take
While Monday collections show a natural dip, Dhurandhar 2 remains a box office powerhouse. With strong word-of-mouth, star power, and global appeal, the film is expected to maintain solid numbers in the coming days.
